Privacy Policy
Effective 30 October 2026 · Applies to the mobile apps published by Baruch Labs
This policy explains what our apps collect, why, and who it is shared with. In short: we collect only what we need to run the app, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
What we may collect
- Content you provide. Text, photos or other files you choose to submit in an app, used only to deliver the feature you requested. Apps only access photos or files you select or take.
- A random app identifier. An app may create a random ID stored on your device. It isn’t tied to your name, email or Apple ID, and is used to apply usage limits and link your subscription.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use a subscription-management provider (such as RevenueCat) to verify and restore purchases; it receives your app ID and purchase status from Apple. We never see your payment card details.
- Technical data. Like most services, our servers may record IP addresses, device and OS type, app version, request times and errors, to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- Support messages. Anything you send us when you contact support, including your email address if you write to us.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the apps.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce fair-use limits.
- To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the apps, and only as needed for them to do so. Depending on the app, these may include cloud hosting and storage, subscription management, analytics or crash reporting, and AI processing providers. If an app sends your content to a third-party AI provider, the app will tell you and ask for your permission first. Providers handle data under their own terms and privacy policies.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal data.
- We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We don’t show third-party advertising or use the advertising identifier unless an app clearly says so and asks for your consent.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Content stored only on your device stays there until you delete it or the app. You can ask us to delete data linked to your app ID or your email at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
- You can decline permissions (such as photo access) in your device settings or when an app asks; features that need them may not work.
- You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have additional legal rights, and we will honour them.
- You can delete an app to remove everything stored on your device.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Continued use of an app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
